Lone Ranges Shooting Complex

Rules of Range

  1. All firearms must be pointed down range at all times.
  2. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
  3. Whilst in the booths, ear and eye protection must be worn.
  4. All instructions by a range officer must be obeyed.
  5. Do not point firearms at yourself or anyone else, always point firearm down range.
  6. Shoot the target in your lane only. Do not shoot other targets, bench, floor, walls, ceiling, or any other unapproved objects on the range.
  7. No Rapid Firing. Only one shot per second.
  8. Return empty centrefire ammunition to the container they came in. Rimfire ammunition (.22LR) in the container supplied.
  9. You cannot remove from the range any range ammunition or part thereof. Under the Firearms Act & Regulations 1974, it may be a criminal offense to do so. Licensed firearms holders can remove 'factory' ammunition they have purchased.
  10. In the event of a malfunction, place firearm on the bench and request assistance from the Range Officer.
  11. No Smoking on Range.
  12. All firearms must be cleared and inspected by Range Officers before leaving the range.

Rules of Entry

  1. Photo ID must be produced before entry to the range.
  2. Enclosed footwear must be worn on the range.
  3. Violation of safety rules will result in expulsion from the complex.
  4. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for their safety and conduct.
  5. No child under 18 may be left unnattended in the complex.
  6. No alcohol and/or drugs permitted on the premises. Anyone under the influence must leave immediately.
  7. Firearms bought into the premises must be enclosed in an appropriate container. Allowable calibres: .177HMR, .22LR, .22Mag, .38Spl, .38Super, .357SIG, .357Mag, 9mm, .44Mag.
  8. Ammunition bought onto the premises must be checked by a Range Officer before shooting. No Full Metal Jacket.
